How do I book a course?

Paypal (handling fee is added) which can be found in the online shop.
Cheque.
Directly into guru holistic training's account.
Cash in person.

On booking the course, an email will be sent to acknowledge payment.

If the course is booked through Isis therapy training or Natural Schools, payment will be needed in full on booking.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes you will get a full receipt for all monies paid.

Booking form

Once you have decided and indicated which course you wish to attend, a booking form will be sent for you to fill in and send back to guru holistic training.

What are CPD points?

Continual professional development. Most insurance companies now stipulate that you must continue your learning.

Where will the course be held?

Either at Chester-le-street or Pittington.

Or at your salon.

How long is the course?

Start time is 9.30am, 20 minutes lunch break and finish approx 3pm.

A later start can be arranged for those that have to travel.

What are the minimum numbers for a course?

Each course requires 2 people to attend, alternatively, you can pay extra to do a one-to-one. The benefit of the one-to-one is you have more choice of dates. With a one to one you may need to provide a model.

I wish to book guruholistic training for in-house training. How do I do this?

Contact Ann to discuss dates and rates. Travel expenses may be additional.

What do I wear?

If you have a professional tunic, please wear that. Alternatively, smart, loose clothing, prefably a polo shirt and jogging bottoms.

What about lunch?

A short lunch break is included, but to save time, please bring a packed lunch and a drink with you.

Will I get my certificate on the day?

You will generally receive your certificate on the day. This is dependant on your abilities on the day and your prior knowledge. Occassionally, additional work or case studies will be requested until the trainer is confident on your competancy. Guru holistics witholds the right to not issue a certificate unless completion of additional work to a satisfactory level.

If you are struggling with the work, a plan of action will be drawn up to help you complete the course.

What are case studies?

A series of practises on friends and family for you to get your confidence with the routine.

Is it just practical work?

No, supporting theory is essential to complete the course.

Will I be able to get support?

Ann offers an email service, you can ask questions at any time pertaining to the course content. Refresher sessions (usually 2 hours) can also be arranged at any time.

Sitting in on the same course at a future date can also be arranged.
