guru holistic training is a recognised and accreditted training provider. All courses are approved and accreditted through The Guild enabling you to practice professionally and gain membership and insurance. On successfully completing the course you will be awarded with the Aromatherapy Diploma or Aromatherapy & Massage Diploma.
An intensive course teaching you the art of essential oil usage [2 days] and an optional 1 day covering aromatherapy in massage.
Aromatherapy & Aromamassage Diploma
This course is offered in two ways, aromatherapy diploma and aromatherapy with aromamassage diploma. If you do not wish to learn an aromatherapy full body massage routine please chose the 2 day course, if you wish to learn an aromatherapy massage routine with scalp massage, facial massage, full body salt scrub and facial compress choose the 3 day course.
Flexible learning means you can divide the course into 3 separate units and learn at your own pace; home study is also necessary to complete this course.
Course Content:
On this course you will learn the history and development of essential oils and how to use them safely and professionally.
The second optional part of the course will be devoted to massage as this will more than likely be your main method of application for clients.
On the two days we will cover:
- history
- families and origins
- methods of use
- mixing and blending
- knowledge of 20+ oils
- base oils
- marketing
- buying
- health and safety
Optional:
- massage terminology [optional day 3]
- appliation of massage [optional day 3]
- use of facial compress
- salt scrub
- scalp massage with oils
